Topography (5)

$0.00

In this series, I've aimed to capture the beauty and visual richness of topography in both natural and human-made landscapes. Using the sgraffito technique, I've created voluminous forms with intricate surface designs depicting patterns and details of topographical features like stone walls, farms, city maps, subway maps, as well as natural elements such as plant communication systems and water/river networks.

These designs showcase the inherent beauty and complexity of these topographical forms, highlighting how they communicate and interact with each other in nature and human environments. The sgraffito technique adds depth and texture, creating a canvas-like surface that invites viewers to appreciate the intricacies of the topographical details depicted.

My artwork is a celebration of the aesthetic appeal and informational richness found in both natural and human-made topography, inviting viewers to explore and appreciate the fascinating designs that these landscapes communicate.
